As featured in "Electric Guitars - The Illustated Encyclopedia", the '67 Hummingbird was one of the very first guitars
ever produced by TOKAI. They went on to become arguably the #1 "copy-era" manufacturers in the 70's and 80's, often
producing replicas of Fender and Gibson guitars that were better than the originals. Interestingly, their first guitar
was modeled after the 60's MOSRITE models, although with much more aggressive features. Today, the 1967 Hummingbird is
an extremely rare guitar and was a perfect fit for EASTWOOD Guitars catalog. |
