why not go the whole distance with neck and headstock gold? Now, that’s one I would surely buy.
Cool look for the Airline, I like it. The Green tuners are a nice touch too.
Like the gold, the trimmings, just enough of each to make it look good. Too much of either and it would look tacky.
That is a truly tacky looking guitar. I say that as a good thing. It’s so tacky that it transcends tackiness into a realm of cosmic beauty. It travels so far out on the tacky continuum that it goes around almost full circle and enters the realm of beauty through the back door.

Wondering why the bolt on neck. And the volume knobs on top causing all sorts of bloodied knuckles??
