Introducing the new Eastwood Astrojet v2.0 – out with the old, in with the new!

The inspiration for the Astrojet v2.0 was the 1964 Astro-Jet from Gretsch(R). Eastwood Guitars has made a few improvements over the original design – added a tun-o-matic style adjustable bridge (original could not adjust intonatoin) – upgraded to  a Bigsby B-50 tremolo (optional) rather than the old 60’s Burns model – changed  the middle switch from 3-way tone (mid/bass/treble) to a coil tap for a more versatile tone options – slightly reduced the body size for a more ergonomic balance and feel.

If you could find one, the originals sell for $2,500+. Here is a photo of a 1964 Gretsch Astro Jet:

The new Eastwood Astrojet 2.0 starts at only $469 for stop tail, $599 for Bigsby model. (scroll down for more detailed photos)
